As The Title suggests it is basically a 'debate by a single person'. the program goes like this. each participant has to choose a topic of his own interest and he/her needs to explore two sides of the coin and come out with a beautiful solution/conclusion. This is how the level of complexity increases inorder to explore the topic one has to have a good idea of the topic and needs to work on it. This is mainly intended to bring the creative & thought provoking skills of the participants.

The essence of the program is the participant has to give a brief view of the topic and then speak both the pros and cons with his own examples coming to a practical conclusion/solution.

The program also includes several facts, coding-decoding, verbal&non verbal questions. not but the least a colourful funhour awaits you.

There is also a special speech on WALT DISNEY & DisneyLand.

RULES

1. Each participant is given 3 minutes of time.

2. 1/2 minute for giving the view of topic, 1 min for pros,1 min for cons, 1/2 min for conclusion

3. Extempore is also encouraged.

AN EXCITING EXTEMPORE

Aiming at increasing complexity, the program planned to be a picture based extempore.this program was conducted on 11th of july.Program started at sharp 4:45.the attendence was 65 and the participation was about 60.The program has been very entertaining, and every participant performed actively.This time instead of titm we introduced knowledge hour on NEW SEVEN WONDERS by MANEESH.. It was very interesting. Judges for the program were Rishi and Kalyani from 3/4 EEE and IT respectively.
We recieved an excellent feedback for the program and organisation.
As the program was very compititive the judges have announced 10 consolation prizes too.

REPORT ON SAMVIDHAN ' 07

We,the organizers, of the 3rd batch conducted a program named “SAMVIDHAN 07” with a tag line “‘U’ in a group” on behalf of ISTE on the date
12-07-07.We also conducted a ‘MOCK TEST’ of SATYAM PAPER, exclusively for 3rd years.Around 95 members took part in mock test and around 80 members participated in the G.D. The Program lasted up to 9:15PM. We have corrected the test papers and returned them at the end of the program. The judges gave valuable tips regarding G.D. to the enthusiastic crowd.

CALL FOR ORGANIZERS

Welcome to a fresh year of organizing. This year also ISTE is providing a chance to all the 3rd year ISTE members to organize programs for their parallels and juniors. All they need to do is just send a mail to srkriste@gmail.com . Few rules regarding the mails u need to send.

Rules :
1. The subject of the mail should be (your name),(regd no),(branch). Please make sure that these details are included in the subject of the mail,failing which your request would be discarded.
2. The last date for sending the mails is 19th of July i.e., Thursday.
3. Multiple requests from the same user are not encouraged. All the multiple requests will be discarded.
4. The name you give in your mail would be written on the certificate you receive.



The list of the selected candidates will be displayed on the ISTE notice board by 20th evening.

‘U’ IN A GROUP

The 3rd batch of the Executive Body Members of ISTE are conducting a program named “SAMVIDHAN 07” with a tag line “’u’ in a group”. This is program is for 3rd years. It is program on “Group Discussion”. In this a topic a topic will be given to a group at at the moment and they are to express their views and finally come to a conclusion.

The program also comprises of:
1)Analytic questions
2)Interview tips by the seniors

Rules and regulations of the pragramme:
1)The topic will be given at the spot
2)Time for discussion of the topic is 5min at the start
3)Time for group discussion is 10 min.
