As already said the programme was a little bit more complex than that of the previous one.The programme started at 5:00 pm on 25th. The participation crossed 50. The programme started with an interactive session between the organisers and the participants. some of the participants shared their views on how ISTE helped them so far.They have given their suggestions on how to increase the complexity levels and organising some more programmes. The participants were very active. They analysed the topics very carefully and spoke very well on both pros and cons.They enjoyed every bit of the programme. The lecture given on Walt Disney by Ravi Sankar of 3rd year Civil proved to be very interesting and motivating. The judges gave their valuable advice to each and every participant.

OUR NEW TREASURER

The new Treasurer and Joint treasurer of the Executive Body for the coming academic year 2007-2008 have been elected.

M.Maneesh, 3/4 ECE has been elected as the Treasurer,

Shrenik Jain Mehta, 3/4 MECH has been elected as the Joint Treasurer.

All financial matters will be dealt only on the last friday of the month. If they fail to do so, the money will not be given.

As The Title suggests it is basically a 'debate by a single person'. the program goes like this. each participant has to choose a topic of his own interest and he/her needs to explore two sides of the coin and come out with a beautiful solution/conclusion. This is how the level of complexity increases inorder to explore the topic one has to have a good idea of the topic and needs to work on it. This is mainly intended to bring the creative & thought provoking skills of the participants.

The essence of the program is the participant has to give a brief view of the topic and then speak both the pros and cons with his own examples coming to a practical conclusion/solution.

The program also includes several facts, coding-decoding, verbal&non verbal questions. not but the least a colourful funhour awaits you.

There is also a special speech on WALT DISNEY & DisneyLand.

RULES

1. Each participant is given 3 minutes of time.

2. 1/2 minute for giving the view of topic, 1 min for pros,1 min for cons, 1/2 min for conclusion

3. Extempore is also encouraged.
